wet plate collodion workshop

These first few pictures aren't the studio we were working in, however it is the most beautiful studio I have ever been in. I was tempted to chain myself to the radiator and refuse to leave. This wall of glass went up two stories and continued as the ceiling. Like a half greenhouse.

They wheel out an antique 11x14 camera.

Eric Taubman and the workshop assistant set up the 11x14. We didn't shoot with this camera, we just played with it and drooled a little. Ok, a lot.

Eric shows the wet plate back for the 11x14 camera.

Legs. haha.

 From the roof looking down.

So there were 7 of us. This is the first set of tintypes we made. Guess which one is mine. It's not a self portrait.

My evil twin. Thanks to Brad for immortalizing me on tin.
