Paloma, one of my lovely nieces (there are 6 nieces on my side and 4 on Jon's side), with a thorn in her finger, of which she was quite proud. A tough cookie, this girl.

studio visit / crit night

tintype day

Had a great afternoon brushing up on my wet plate skills before heading down to NY later this week to shoot some ambrotypes. This is an 8x10 tintype, a group effort, at a local photographer's place.

dissected fish

Bowie loved this fish for some reason. Her pal Bruno came over and helped her tear it apart. It freaks me out how perfectly its lips and eye are torn off.

pie crust

I was making the pie crust for a tart and as I poked holes with a fork I flashed back to "helping" my Mom bake and being so young I had to stand on a chair to reach the pie crust.
